Pursuant to Bill S.2475 Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted During the State of Emergency, this meeting of the Greenfield Conservation Commission will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found below. Every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to do so, despite best efforts, we will post on the City of Greenfield website an audio or video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting.

Should any technical interruption to the meeting occur and the meeting is suddenly ended, it will not be resumed and all items will be automatically continued to the next scheduled meeting date. Contact the Conservation Agent for more information.

  • Public Meeting: Request for Determination of Applicability: Tree removal at 30 Spring Terrace; (Map: 54, Lot: 30)

The Commission will review a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by Nancy Hazard. Applicant is seeking a determination as to whether the proposed removal of 10 Norway Maple trees within the backyard of an existing single family home is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act and the Greenfield Wetlands Protection Ordinance. Erosion control measures will be presented

  • Public Meeting: Request for Determination of Applicability: Installation of septic system and removal of 10 trees at 193 Barton Road; (Map: R19, Lot: 6)

The Commission will review a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by Nathan Santerre. Applicant is seeking a determination as to whether the depicted septic system installation within the lawn of an existing single family home is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act and the Greenfield Wetlands Protection Ordinance. Applicant is also seeking a determination as to whether the proposed removal of 10 trees within the buffer zone is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act and the Greenfield Wetlands Protection Ordinance. There are no proposed impacts to any wetland resource areas and erosion control measures will be presented.
