Pursuant to Bill S.2475 Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted During the State of Emergency, this meeting of the Greenfield Conservation Commission will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found below. Every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to do so, despite best efforts, we will post on the City of Greenfield website an audio or video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting.

Schedule of Public Meetings & Hearings

  • Public Meeting: Request for Determination of Applicability: Proposed building addition, parking, and circulation revisions at 184 Shelburne Road; (Map: 45, Lot: 22)

The Commission will review a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by 66 Greenfield LLC for activities associated with the expansion project at 184 Shelburne Road. The Owner intends to build a four-story addition to the north of the existing building and add parking to the west within 192 Shelburne Rd. Property. Most of the proposed work is to the east of the existing hotel building, and outside of the 200’ Riverfront Area Limit. The proposed building addition will require a sewer connection to the existing sewer manhole as shown on the plan. The electrical supply will be re-routed to the west around the new building addition and re-connect to the supply along the Shelburne Rd. New pedestrian connections will connect via curb ramps to the new parking lot to the east. Existing buffer planting will be left in place when possible and protected from damage during construction. Additional buffer planting will be added as shown on the plans. The existing drainage system will mostly be left in place, with a minor relocation of a drain line and manhole to the east of the existing hotel. Additional drainage inlets will be added to the new parking lot and connected to the existing Vortex TSS Storm Water Management System. Should it be found during further engineering that the existing Vortex system is inadequate; an additional TSS management system will be added as needed.
