CDBG Public Hearing

The City of Greenfield will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 5:00 pm at City Hall Meeting Room, 14 Court Square Greenfield with a remote Zoom option (hybrid meeting). The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on the City’s Community Development Block Grant activities, including:

  1. Accept community input on Greenfield’s Community Development Strategy and priority projects (draft available at for the City’s 2022 Mini-Entitlement Program application
  2. Update on grant implementation of activities funded through the 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 awards
  3. Discuss a program amendment from the CDBG2020 grant year to add Housing Rehabilitation as an activity and transfer uncommitted social services funding to housing rehabilitation activities

Any person or organization participating will be given the opportunity to comment at the hearings. The City will make every attempt to provide interpretive and translation services, if necessary, with advance request by November 10. Comments may be submitted in writing or by e-mail to Christian LaPlante at and must be received by noon on Tuesday, November 28th.
