VOTER REGISTRATION

You can register to vote here. The deadline for voter registration for all elections is 10 days prior to the election date.

You can also contact the City Clerk’s Office at 413-772-1555, ext. 6162, and request a voter registration card for you to complete and return to us either by mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 14 Court Sq., Greenfield, MA 01301 or by using the secure drop box located by the side door of City Hall.

VOTE BY MAIL

Voters may be eligible to vote at home or in person at the City Clerk’s Office if they are unable to go to the polls on Election Day. This information will help you determine if you or a family member are eligible for an Absentee Ballot. You can download an application for voting by mail here.

Please note that vote by mail and absentee ballot applications MUST be filed annually.

Applications for absentee ballots must be filed with the City Clerk no later than noon on the fourth business day before the election. If the the fourth business day before an election falls on a holiday, applications must be filed no later than 5 p.m. on the last business day preceding the holiday.

PRECINCT POLLING LOCATIONS

All nine precincts vote at the Greenfield High School gymnasium at 2 Barr Ave. Voters enter through the entrance located in the rear of the building.
