Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
*Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. (*winter hours closes at noon January 15th to March 15th)

DIVISION FUNCTIONS:

The Solid Waste and Recycling Division of the Department of Public Works performs curbside rubbish and recycling collections, operates the Transfer Station and daily transports rubbish and recyclable materials to their disposal/processing centers in Springfield. The Transfer Station provides a drop-off location for residents to properly dispose of items not collected curbside such as computers, mattresses, demolition material, food compost, brush and hazardous wastes such as paint and waste oil.
