Commend or Complain

The Greenfield Police Department welcomes feedback from the public regarding the level of service provided by our personnel. Whether you have a compliment, complaint or suggestion, we want to hear from you.

If you wish to commend the actions of any employee, you may do so by completing the online form below. Submissions can also be made by phone or in writing to the chief of police. Verbal commendations may also be given to any department supervisor.

If you believe that the conduct of an employee was inappropriate, you may request to speak to a supervisor at the police station, or you can submit the online report form below. In addition, or as an alternative, you can contact the chief of police or a member of the Public Safety Commission. Any one of these options will initiate an immediate investigation of your complaint.

It is the policy of the Greenfield Police Department to investigate all complaints, including anonymous complaints, against the department or a member of the department, regardless of the source of such complaints, through a regulated, fair and impartial Internal Affairs program. Through investigation, it will be determined whether such complaints are valid, and if so, the department will take appropriate action to remedy the issue.
