13-acre Parcel to Be Retained at Stone Ridge Lane; Auction of 6-acre Parcel to Proceed

A 13-acre parcel of land on Stone Ridge Lane will be sold at public auction on October 13.

Mayor Roxann Wedegartner is pleased to announce that after receiving much feedback from local citizens, the City will retain a 13-acre parcel on Stone Ridge Lane that abuts Rocky Mountain Park in Greenfield. "What an opportunity to protect and preserve our natural environment and expand our green space in perpetuity. The Rocky Mountain ridge trail system is highly utilized and is a vital recreational resource for our community," says Recreation Director Christy Moore.

The adjacent 6-acre parcel containing a 2,900 sf, 1915 single-family home will be sold at auction on Wednesday, October 13 at noon on Court Square in front of City Hall. More information on the auction and property can be found at https://sullivan-auctioneers.com/calendar-detail/?id=14267. Parking is available nearby at the Chapman/Davis parking lot or at the parking garage on Olive Street.
