Welcome to our new website
Welcome to our new, completely redesigned Town website. We have improved the site with new features to make it more capable and easier to use. Our first major site upgrade is a Community Calendar featuring searchable calendars for Town Meetings, Community Events and, for the first time, Arts and Culture. Now you can keep up to date with everything happening in town. Easy to use and all in one place.
Second, we have added a new way for you to communicate with us. Greenfield 311 is a web and mobile based service that will allow you to report non-emergency issues to the town (i.e. pot holes, graffiti, street light outages or other issues). You can also track our response. You will also have the opportunity to respond to community surveys from various departments seeking your preferences and what you think of new initiatives.
All part of our ongoing efforts to be transparent and responsive to the community.
As we further develop the site, we will add more ways for you to interact with the town. Everything from practical, day to day issues - like paying a parking ticket or finding out what's going on in town for the weekend - to major new initiatives like our Open Checkbook feature. Scheduled for implementation in 2016, after a transition to new municipal software, Open Checkbook is part of our commitment to unprecedented levels of transparency in local government. When completed, you will have ongoing open access to data that shows how and where we are spending the budget for the town.
