Our SAFE program also helps educate seniors and assist them with being fire-safe. With Senior SAFE grant money and assistance from the Greenfield Council on Aging, we are able to offer free smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
In addition our educators visit nursing homes, senior living housing and the Greenfield Senior Center.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Installation Program The Greenfield Fire Department, with assistance from the Greenfield Council on Aging, is able to offer free smoke and carbon monoxide detectors thanks to Massachusetts Senior SAFE grant funding.
